The current Board is excited to introduce a new fundraiser for JLSA with the inaugural Unstoppable: "We continue to volunteer with and provide financial support to over 60 nonprofit community partners every year, and we are more than 1,000 members strong." President Joy McGaugh says of the organizations consistent giving nature. "Our mission remains the same. How we fund that mission will change and evolve over time. Don't call it a comeback – we've been here for 95 years. And we have no plans to slow down now." Twenty esteemed community members and non-members will champion fundraising for the Signature Project. "To select these trailblazing fundraising advocates, JLSA approached community supporters and League members who we thought could make a compelling case for supporting this exciting new initiative. We had no trouble finding 20 people who responded enthusiastically to our offer because of their belief in the mission and power of JLSA volunteers and the incredible impact this project promises to make in Bexar County and beyond."
