They're giving all the single ladies out there a chance to score themselves a date with their eminently eligible bachelor bartender Angelo 'The Valentine' Carniato. And by date they mean a sumptuous six course banquet feast including cocktails on arrival and a bottle of French champagne - all paid for by Firefly.

No, this is not a stunt. It's the real deal and follows on from the hugely successful giveaway of human cupid bartender Henry The Valentine in 2017.

Firefly had to forego the event in 2018 due to a lack of eligible bartenders.

Then Angelo came along.

Angelo could very well be perfect date material. He's 26 years old, French and charming. He originally intended staying in Australia for two years but has fallen in love with Sydney and not so secretly wishes he could meet a 'nice Aussie girl'. He loves being in nature but after a day outdoors he looks forward to stirring down a cocktail or two and heading out to party. He describes himself as 'a pretty typical fun loving guy'.

Lining up a chance to score a date with this modern day Casanova is a cinch. Just drop in to Firefly for a drink any time between now and 14th Feb and leave your entry at the bar. The winner will be drawn on Valentines eve and Angelo will call the lucky girl to arrange their date.
