M FEST -2019 - KiMA AWARDS for Luminaries of Kannada Film Industry

BANGALORE, India - Jan. 21, 2019 - PRLog -- The final day of M FEST witnessed the award ceremony of 5^th Edition of KiMA AWARDS at Lakeside, Orion Mall, Bengaluru wherein the legend, Dr. Hamsalekha and Mr. VK Lokesh, CEO and Promoter of M FEST 2019 and KiMA AWARDS presented awards to the following awardees of the special categories:

·       Nadoja Dr. B K Sumithra - LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

·       Dr. Doddarange Gowda - OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTION AWARD

·       Mr. Pravin Godkhindi - INTERNATIONAL MUSICIAN AWARD

·       Mr. Vijay Prakash - POPULAR SINGER AWARD

The day started with a performance by the popular Indian band played by Manjunath NS & Sandeep Vashista in both National and International music spheres. Their genre is Carnatic Classical, Hindustani Classical, Indian Classical Dance Forms, Fusion, Film and World Music. The duo are multi-faceted artists, where the former is known for his versatile playing of the Drum kit and the latter is a music composer, producer and recording artist.  It was followedby a live Music performance by Charan Rao and Sangharsh Kumar which was a curtain raiser for the 5th KiMA AWARDS, the most prestigious Kannada Music Awards. In its 5th Edition, KiMA AWARDS celebrates talent across the globe over multiple genres of Kannada Music, which is the right platform to compete with the best of best from the Kannada Music industry.
