NOHO HOME by Jalene Kanani Launches New Retail Home Decor Business

KAPOLEI, Hawaii - Jan. 22, 2019 - PRLog -- JaleneKANANI, Inc., a Native Hawaiian, woman-owned, small-business corporation, announces the launch of its retail home decor brand, NOHO HOME by Jalene Kanani with the opening of an online store, NohoHomeHawaii.com. JaleneKANANI designs, which were previously only available to Hospitality and Commercial clients worldwide through her licensing partners and the trade, will now be available to retail customers via a NOHO HOME E-commerce website, and also soon in select retail stores.

Jalene Kanani Bell, Creative Director and President of NOHO HOME has spent the last several months designing, curating, and producing merchandise that reflect current technologies, wellness and quality standards, while incorporating meaningful design for her first line of retail luxury home decor. Growing up in Hawai'i, Bell began to cultivate her creative expression at a young age through the art of hula. Like her mother before her, Bell has proven herself a strong and savvy businesswoman and has worked with Architects, Interior Designers and Large End Users in the Commercial and Hospitality marketplace for the past 24 years. She started JaleneKanani, Inc in 2008 to better service them with unique Hawaiian inspired designs. This experience has provided her a wealth of industry knowledge and the necessary credentials and accolades to set a foundation for the NOHO HOME brand.

Creating a sacred space is the essence of home and what inspired the namesake of the lifestyle brand. "In ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi (Hawaiian language), noho means to be, to dwell or to come from," the designer explains. Inspired by the notions of authenticity and connection, NOHO HOME encourages the dweller to express their sense of home through pieces that evoke cultural sensibility. "Home means different things to different people and is not always a physical four walls–it is a feeling. I moved around a bit, so home for me is going to my friendʻs house at 5pm and smelling food on the stove. Home is being at canoe practice every day. Home is a feeling you experience, and one that you want to continually cultivate and surround yourself with," says Bell.
