Wild Bird Center Store Opens in Evansville

EVANSVILLE, Ind. - Feb. 15, 2019 - PRLog -- Evansville residents and wild bird enthusiasts now have a new place to migrate for all of their wild bird supplies.  Becky and Dar Will, and Greg and Mary Miller have just opened a new Wild Bird Center store in The Schnuck's Lakeside Commons Plaza, on N. Green River Road near Lynch Road. The Wild Bird Center of Evansville is a unique retail business offering customers a wide range of bird feeders and bird seed, as well as other unique backyard birding products. The newest Wild Bird Center store opening reflects the ever-growing trend of bird feeding and bird watching in North America.

Although both couples own the store and share the love of bird feeding, Becky Will and Greg Miller will operate the store full-time while Dar and Mary continue with their current employment.  The Wills and Millers are nature enthusiasts who recognize the potential of owning a business that facilitates more than just a hobby.  They understand that backyard bird feeding is a way to connect with the outdoors and help nature right outside your back door. "Backyard bird feeding and watching has been a part of my life for 40 years," states Becky, who was a high school science teacher at Castle High School in Newburgh before retiring.  "I am excited to open a business where I not only share a hobby, but help enhance the lifestyle of my customers and continue to be in a teaching role."

The Wild Bird Center acts as a "one-stop-shop" for all levels of birders, from casual to serious bird watchers. The store carries more than a dozen seed types, numerous bird feeders, nest boxes, birdbaths and creative gifts such as garden accessories, stationery, nature books and decorative nature items.
