Selfless.ly Becomes Indiana's First Domestic Benefit Corporation and Certified B Corp

INDIANAPOLIS - Feb. 1, 2019 - PRLog -- Selfless.ly, an Indiana-based corporate social responsibility platform, is proud to announce that it is Indiana's first company to be both a Domestic Benefit Corporation and a Certified B Corp. This distinction adds Selfless.ly to a short list of companies globally committed to balancing profit and purpose through such certification.

The certification process measures a company's social and environmental performance, public transparency, inclusion, and legal accountability. Certified B Corps also amend their legal governing documents to grant the ability for their board of directors to make decisions that are not only profitable, but positive for their community, employees, and environment. Selfless.ly joins this community alongside other brands such as Patagonia, Ben & Jerry's, Kickstarter, and most recently Toms.
