Peggy Milne of Home Helpers San Mateo Wins Prestigious Half Moon Bay Chamber Award

SAN MATEO, Calif. - Feb. 4, 2019 - PRLog -- Home Helpers of San Mateo County announced today that Owner & President Peggy Milne received the distinguished Volunteer of the Year Award  from the Half Moon Bay Coastside Chamber of Commerce and Visitors' Bureau.  This award was presented to Peggy Milne at the Chamber's Annual Awards dinner on January 24, 2019.  The Volunteer of the Year Award  is presented to a member of the Coastside Community that provides outstanding volunteer service to the community,  Peggy Milne, President of Home Helpers of San Mateo County and former Chair of  the Half Moon Bay Chamber lead the succession committee of the Chamber to find a new CEO.   This process, which took over 18 months, culminated in hiring the new and current CEO of the Chamber, Krystlyn Geidt.

This accomplishment demonstrates Peggy's long term commitment to both the Coastside Community and to the Chamber.  "Peggy is truly an outstanding advocate of the Chamber and the Community" said Krystlyn Giedt, CEO of the Half Moon Bay Chamber of Commerce.
