FEBRUARY

ABBA MANIA

Formed in 1999. ABBA MANIA has been selling out theatre and concert halls internationally ever since, bringing the music of the Swedish "Supergroup" to their millions of fans, old and new. ABBA's timeless songs were written to be enjoyed live and ABBA MANIA gives exactly that. Two hours of uplifting, dance inducing and sometimes heart-breaking songs, fully live with fantastic staging, lighting and effects. This show recreates ABBA's sound not only perfectly, but respectfully too. This show is not only for life long, die hard ABBA fans but for the new generation of fans who never had the opportunity to see the band live. Paula Poundstone

One of our country's preeminent comedians, known for her smart, observational humor and spontaneous wit that has become the stuff of legend, Paula Poundstone tours regularly performing over 85 shows a year. She was the first woman, in its then 73rd year, to perform standup comedy at the White House Correspondents' Dinner. She won an American Comedy Award for Best Female Standup Comic and is recognized in innumerable lists, documentaries, and literary compendiums noting influential standup comedians of our time.

If you consider the definition of "Tribute" as being an acknowledgment of respect and admiration, you can understand what has driven band leader Tony Monaco to form Turnstiles. As a young man, Monaco became an inspired, lifelong fan of the Piano Man and he used that inspiration to grow as a pianist, vocalist, and songwriter. As a result, Billy's style has been forever imprinted on his musical soul, much like that of Ray Charles and many others have been imprinted on that of Billy Joel.
