AE Works Awarded Contract to Support ALCOSAN's Clean Water Plan in Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH - Feb. 11, 2019 - PRLog -- AE Works, an integrated building design and consulting firm based in Pittsburgh announced it has been awarded a contract to provide professional planning and design services to support Allegheny County Sanitary Authority (ALCOSAN) with its requirements for a new Laboratory and Industrial Waste (IW) facility.

As ALCOSAN plans for its upcoming Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) Expansion to support their Clean Water Plan, this project addresses the need for a new Laboratory and IW Facility. Work completed under this contract will outline specifications and layout for the new facility as well as support in selecting the site on which the building will be built.

AE Works will be responsible assessing current facilities and defining needs of the future facility through interviews with stakeholders. Following detailed planning and assessment phases, AE Works will deliver a conceptual design that embraces ALCOSAN's commitment to sustainability and enables organizational flexibility to adapt to changing testing protocols.
