Female Football Player Holly Custis Shares Love for Reading During National Reading Month

SEATTLE - Feb. 26, 2019 - PRLog -- March is National Reading Month and Holly Custis, female football player for the Seattle Majestics, will be sharing her love for reading with students as part of the initiative to encourage young students to read more. Custis will be making special appearances for the elementary students at Loyal Heights Elementary school on March 1^st, and again with students of Eckstein Middle School on March 15^th.

"Reading is so important because through reading other voices, you eventually find your own," says Custis. "Words are powerful because every idea on this planet was once just a few words on paper."

Holly Custis is a thirteen year Women's Football Association Veteran, currently playing with the Seattle Majestics. Holly is a highly decorated female athlete, having First Team All-American accolades in 201, 2011, 2013, 2014, and 2015, as well as WFA Defensive Player of the week titles in 2013 and 2014. She was inducted into Semi-Pro Hall of Fame All Star status in 2017 and 2018, and won the Burmy Award for Best Linebacker, WFA Division 1, in 2017 as well. In addition to her accolades on the field, Holly has revealed that she is also a voracious reader.
