D&H Engraving Celebrates 50 Years in Business!

BROOMFIELD, Colo. - Feb. 27, 2019 - PRLog -- D&H Engraving was founded by Don Nelson in 1969 in Arvada, a northwest suburb of Denver, Colorado.  While working full-time as an Advertising Executive for the Adolph Coors Company, Nelson started the company in his basement. Working part-time, and using a Manual New Hermes engraver, he offered wholesale engraved desk signs and nametags to local stationery companies. The company was named after Don and his wife, Helen ("D&H").

In 1998, Nelson's son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Janet Nelson,  purchased the company and have been managing it full-time ever since.  Steve said "… we are grateful for our many past and current customers' continuing loyalty and support over the past 50 years. It has been so exciting to see how this company has changed, from the tools and technology, to the products we have offered and continue to offer."  D&H Engraving has created items ranging from desk plates to name tags to computer panels to luggage system panels for international airports.

The company's Secretary, Janet Nelson said "…in an unstable economy where businesses come and go so quickly, we are aware that this is no small milestone. We are humbled as we look back at the journey we have taken."
