Born To Read, Inc. Receives Grant from The Beaufort Fund

BEAUFORT, S.C. - March 4, 2019 - PRLog -- Born To Read, Inc. is excited to announce it has received grant funding from The Beaufort Fund of Coastal Community Foundation of South Carolina. These funds will be used to purchase materials and books used in our resource bags provided to parents. The resource bags are given in the hospitals when a baby is born. Materials and books are also given at free parent workshops and local clinics to mothers at the time of their prenatal visits. Because of The Beaufort Fund we can continue our mission of promoting oral language development and early childhood literacy here in the Lowcountry.

At Coastal Community Foundation their focus on donors is led by the Development & Stewardship team, while theirr Grantmaking & Community Leadership staff run grant programs, initiatives and other community activities.
