Aruba's Eagle Beach Again Voted One Of The World's Best

Underlining its position as one of the world's best beach destinations, Aruba has scooped two accolades from international travellers.

March 5, 2019 - PRLog -- The TripAdvisor 2019 Travellers' Choice Awards sees Aruba's Eagle Beach voted second in the Caribbean and No 3 in the world in the best beach category.

TripAdvisor rated 352 beaches around the world and winners were chosen on the quantity and quality of traveller reviews posted over a year.

'Congratulations to Eagle Beach for being named a Travellers' Choice winner again this year,' said Desirée Fish, vice-president global communications for TripAdvisor. 'Our awards are even more special than other editorially selected awards because these winners are determined through review data by our global community. From beautiful crystalline waters and golden sand to stunning rugged coastlines where you can spot exotic wildlife, this list has something for everyone.'

North of island capital Oranjestad, Eagle Beach offers dazzling white sand with safe bathing. The area is home to some of the island's leading low-rise hotels. It is a public beach, although sunbeds on the beach are generally available only to guests of neighbouring hotels.

One of Eagle Beach's best-known hotels, Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort, was also one of the winners in the TripAdvisor 2019 Travellers' Choice Awards. It was named among the top 10 hotels for romance in the world – the only Caribbean property to make the world list. And for the fourth year running, it was named the No 1 hotel for romance in the Caribbean. It was also No. 1 resort in the Caribbean and No 1 for service in the Caribbean.
