AIM Aerospace welcomes Jon Evans as Senior Vice President, Business Development, Strategy and R&D

RENTON, Wash. - March 6, 2019 - PRLog -- AIM Aerospace, a leading supplier of composite structural and interior aerospace parts, has announced the appointment of Jon Evans to the role of Senior Vice President of Business Development, Strategy and R&D, based out of their Renton, WA location.

Mr. Evans will be responsible for driving the growth strategy and fully leveraging the research and development capabilities to position AIM Aerospace as a technologically advanced solution provider to our customers. President, Daniele Cagnatel, reports, "I am confident that combining the power and knowledge of our research & development team with our business development team will make us a stronger competitor in the market place and really accelerate our growth trajectory."

Prior to joining AIM Aerospace, Mr. Evan's most recent roles were Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Commercial for Doncasters Group in Colorado for two years and Vice President of Business Development and Strategy for GKN Aerostructures North America for over seven years.

In addition, Mr. Evan's spent 7.5 years at SpaceDev Inc. and 16.5 years at ATK Aerospace.  Throughout these assignments, he has worked closely with a variety of customers in Commercial Aerospace, Department of Defense, NASA and many satellite, launch vehicle and aircraft domestic and international customers.

Collectively, Mr. Evan's brings over 30 years of experience in aerospace castings, forgings, machining and assembly, as well as composites structure design, development and production.  His background includes extensive experience in mechanical system design, development and implementation for commercial aircraft details and assemblies, and spacecraft structures/systems.
