ATLAS – Call for Applications

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - March 7, 2019 - PRLog -- The ATLAS application is now open! The Apereo Teaching and Learning community is seeking submissions for the annual Apereo Teaching and Learning Awards (ATLAS) competition. The award recognizes innovation and excellence in technology-supported teaching, academic collaboration, and student engagement and learning. We invite applications that demonstrate innovative teaching and learning using Sakai, OAE, Karuta, Xerte, ELMS:LN and/or Opencast. Deadline to submit is March 11, 2019.

Award entries are evaluated against rubrics and the definition of innovation. Each applicant will submit a description of their innovative teaching method, practice or strategy and indicate the ways in which it addresses the award rubric.  The application is divided into three categories: course, project, and portfolio.

Winners will be announced by the end of March 2019 and recognized at the Open Apereo Conference June 2-6, 2019 in Los Angeles, California, US. Registration and travel expenses will be covered for award winners.
