Emerging Leaders Program Enters Second Year of Enrollment

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - March 7, 2019 - PRLog -- New England Society for Healthcare Communications (NESHCo) has announced that it is now accepting applications for its 2019 Emerging Leader Program. This will be the second cohort to participate in this innovative program.

Online applications will be accepted until March 22, 2019. Applicants will know if they have been selected for the program by April 19, 2019.

In this twelve-month program, healthcare communications professionals with aspirations for leadership roles will learn critical skills and insights from leaders in the profession, gain insights into their individual strengths and traits, and learn how those traits fit into the constellation of skills needed by leaders in our profession.

"NESHCo's mission is to be the resource for success, growth, and professional development in the healthcare communications profession in New England.," said NESHCo President Michael O'Farrell. "That's why we created this program."

NESHCo graduates its first class of participants at its Spring Conference this May. "NESHCo's Emerging Leaders Program has exceeded my expectations," said participant Jill Barthel. "I originally joined the program to learn the skills necessary for becoming an effective leader and to begin developing my own leadership style. This program delivered on those goals and more. I would absolutely recommend the Emerging Leaders Program."

NESHCo is New England's premier professional society for healthcare communications, public relations, marketing, advertising, and public affairs.
