Award Winning Texas Artist David Martinez Returns To Austin

AUSTIN, Texas - March 11, 2019 - PRLog -- The PureM Magazine US Artist Of The Year and #1 artist in South Texas, David Martinez, is returning to Austin for a week of activities during SXSW.

He will be taping his annual SXSW discussion on The David Bowers Awards syndicated radio show on Monday March 11th which will air Saturday March 16th on WRFZ FM 106.3 in Rochester at noon, Sunday March 17th on Blog Talk Radio at 2PM, and on iHeart Radio and other digital platforms on Tuesday March 19th.

David will be performing in The Cosmic Clash Daze - Day 1 on Wednesday March 13th at 3PM at the Hard Luck Lounge in Austin sponsored by High Brew Coffee and El Afan Tequila. Other acts include: Nemegata, Oh Antonio And His Imaginary Friends, Mexmode, Tortuga Shades, Obscured By Echoes, and Frederico7.

On Thursday, March 14th, David will be once again attending the Recording Academy Block Party from 5:30-9PM at the Four Seasons Hotel Austin. Performers include: Midland, La Maquinaria Nortena, and Mobley.

Additionally, David Martinez was just announced as a nominee for the South Texas Music Walk Of Fame. This past year brought David two KICMA Country Awards nominations here in the US- for Male Vocalist of the Year 2018 and for Song of the Year 2018 for 'I'm Alright'.

David recently finished up a banner year of 200 tour dates sponsored by the Texas Select Beverage Company. Included among his shows this past year was the Grand Opening at the Aloft Hotels Corpus Christi, launching their Live At Aloft music series.

David's future tour plans this year include a trip to Boston to perform in the Light Up The Love with LadyLake Showcase this summer at City Winery Boston in June.
