PITTSBURGH - March 12, 2019 - PRLog -- The Pines of Mount Lebanon will host a "Friends and Family Night" to discuss veterans' benefits on Tuesday, March 19.

     Featured speakers Colleen Bratkovich and Carrie Conboy of Zacharia Brown Elder Law Attorneys will address this very important topic beginning at 5 p.m. at the senior living community located at 1537 Washington Road in Pittsburgh. The event is open to the public and refreshments will be served.

    "Friends and Family Night" provides us a great opportunity to bring in expert speakers to address a very significant topic," said Stephanie Steiger of the Pines of Mount Lebanon. "We have residents who are veterans and family members who will benefit from the valuable insight and information provided during the Friends and Family Night."

    Bratkovich is an Associate at Zacharia Brown and practices in the areas of Medicaid planning and eligibility, veterans' benefits, and related estate planning and estate administration issues, according to the law firm's website. She is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.

    Bratkovich is also accredited by the Veteran's Administration to represent veterans in their claims before the department. She received her undergraduate degree from the Pennsylvania State University and her law degree from Duquesne University, where she was a member of the Women's Law Association, a student member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, a member of Phi Alpha Delta law fraternity, and the recipient of the 2006 CALI award for excellence in the area of Estates and Trusts. Colleen is a member of NAELA and PAELA.

    Conboy is an associate attorney at Zacharia Brown and also serves as the firm's director of marketing and business development, according to the firm's website. She provides assistance and counsel to individuals and families regarding estate and elder law planning issues.

    Conboy is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland and her law degree from Duquesne University School of Law.
