The goals of achieving a gender-equal world requires social innovations that work equally well for both the genders. Everyone needs equal opportunities to evolve into a balanced society. Tangible initiatives aimed at Balance for Better are been taken at a global level .

Some of us are lucky enough to be the part of the privileged section; our up-bringing is so struggle free. We have received constant support of our family and the people around us. Our loved ones have been so supportive that we never had to face the hardships of life.

However, not everyone is as lucky as the few of us. Some don't have the privileges to learn evolve while others don't have the to so. The problem is not only in the lower sections of the society; women from the educated class are not allowed to express themselves and be at par with their male counterparts.

Government, NGOs and groups will keep taking initiatives, but are those initiatives really helping the underprivileged? We can still see that a majority of women around are still living in a male dominated society. Some of them have accepted it as their fate while others are struggling hard to bring a change in their life

But what are we doing for them as one of the privileged women? Most of us are simply ignoring them as no one wants to get involved into someone troubles. What could we do on our part to make their life a better version of their present life?

On this Women's Day, let us start a resolution of helping women in our surrounding. Not by money, but by helping them realise their potential and giving them opportunity of learning, growing and earning by their own.

Meet our team of leaders who have been working at par or even more than their male counterparts. They face their own share of challenges and reached at a point where they can make a difference in the society.

Meet Deepti Tayal: "I would like to share a real-life story of how I took initiatives to bring about a difference in someone's life. I have a poor family in my neighbourhood where females were not allowed to go out and do jobs. Hence, I advised the lady to teach kids in neighbourhood as she was well educated. By this, she could also earn pretty good money. Few years back she started this and now she owns a coaching centre and every time she meets me her face is always filled with proud and happiness and she always shares her success with me. My little advice made her realise her potential and turned around her life.

Sometimes showing the right path and being a support for someone works wonders. You don't have to provide monetary help always. You never know, what changes your support could bring. Being a support in any way could be helpful in growing the other. Your effort will make the other person as well as you feel happy and good about yourself."
