As an active competitor and teacher, Anna instills a love for tradition and strength in her students. She began dancing over 20 years ago in North Carolina, originally as a student in Ballet, Tap, and Jazz. After watching many of her relatives compete in Highland Dance, Anna grudgingly gave it a try, only to discover what would become a life-long passion. While earning her Masters Degree from The Hartt School of Music, Dance, and Theatre in Hartford, CT, Anna became an active member of the Callanish School of Celtic Arts as a Dancer and Assistant Teacher. The Callanish School has a deep connection to its community, and it was there that Anna began using Highland Dance and Scottish Tradition to engage in outreach programs throughout the state of Connecticut.
