Saints Fans Finally Get Their Day

NEW ORLEANS - March 24, 2019 - PRLog -- Inspired by the aftermath of the recent NFC championship debacle and the now internationally famous "missed call" that enraged a generation of loyal Saints fans - A new Hollywood independent (comedy) motion picture is in development called:

"Get the Ref!"

Joanne Busch, president of Prior Military Productions in West Hollywood, CA works with disabled U.S. military veterans retraining them in the film/tv industry.   This will be their inaugural project with (10) disabled vets on set learning next to seasoned Louisiana crew.

"We hope to shoot this summer with a release around Thanksgiving should all go well," says Busch, "Local fans are encouraged to attend an old fashioned cattle call once we set up for production.  We will interview (5) on film hearing their thoughts about the missed call."

Joanne continues, "We wanted to make a film with impact reflective of social events.  The tragedy that befell Saints fans needs some kind of retribution."

The story was written by one of the vets and centers on fans bent bound and determined to "Get the Ref" who missed the call.  She wants Roger Goodell to cameo. "It's all in good humor. I feel it can be cathartic for fans and the commissioner to come together."

Top talent and distribution arms are being approached.  One of Clint Eastwood's daughters may produce.

Ms. Busch is reaching out to homegrown Louisiana businessmen as potential funding sources.  "We want to do an all equity model," says Busch, "$5 million is a very low budget. Because it's so low, recoupment is fast! [President] Trump did the industry a favor with the new tax code.  I'd like my finance partners to take full advantage of the clause before it sunsets."

Her goal is to garner distribution via Netflix or one of the studios.  "We make the movie with our dime - Harvest it for an outright fee in [hopefully] the low eight-figures."

Surprise appearances by NFL legends and popular players pepper the film according to Busch.  She says, "The script is hilarious, organic, original and caters to everyone. Lots of surprises in store."
