Bobby Lyle Trio, Bunny Brunel CAB with Special Guest Kaylene Peoples in Concert March 27th

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - March 27, 2019 - PRLog -- At the Catalina Jazz Club on Sunset, Bobby Lyle and Bunny Brunel CAB, along with Kaylene Peoples will be putting on an incredible show. The concert is hosted by Verdell Adams of Spacefather Entertainment. Legendary pianist/organist and Emmy-nominated Bobby Lyle was deemed a musical wonder when he released his innovative first album The Genie, which exploded onto the Billboard charts and blew the minds of jazz enthusiasts everywhere. Since debuting, Lyle has kept a high standard for 30-plus years and has successfully maintain a flourishing, always-evolving career with product on Capitol Jazz, Atlantic Jazz, Three Keys, Heads Up, and now his own label New Warrior Music. Bobby's personnel for the concert will include bassist Brandino and drummer Oscar Seaton. Bobby is releasing his much-anticipated album later this year.

Bunny Brunel CAB opens the first set with keyboardist Mitch Forman, guitarist Alex Machacek, flutist/vocalist Kaylene Peoples, and drummer DeCarlos "Hulk" Davis. CAB earned a Grammy-nomination for the album CAB 2, the second Grammy-nomination for Bunny Brunel. Nine years as a member of Chick Corea's band, throughout his career, Bunny has performed with Herbie Hancock, Al Jarreau, Stevie Wonder, Wayne Shorter, Natalie Cole, Dizzy Gillespie just to get started! He is known as a founding member of the Jazz Bass Fusion Movement. His last album (Bass Ball 2017) is historically the first of its kind to feature bass players here and in France, and is co-produced by his longtime friend Stanley Clarke. Endorsed by ESP Guitars, Brunel designs his own ESP LTD series to include fretted and fretless basses. He is also the inventor of the Bunny Brunel electric Upright Bass (BBEUB).

A flutist in CAB and a jazz vocalist/recording artist, Kaylene Peoples will be sitting in with Bobby Lyle, performing her award-winning single "Giant Steps" from her CD My Man. Peoples is an LA Music Awards-winning producer and has performed/recorded with Larry Dunn (EWF), Hubert Laws, Patrice Rushen, Stanley Clarke, and others.  Her album All Jazzed Up! made a splash across the nation when her song "Do You Remember" was played across the country. The single climbed to the top of the independent charts (AC40/NMW! Top 100 Chart/ FMQB & ACQB!, and Indie 100 chart).

Catalina Jazz Club is a prominent jazz club and restaurant on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood. Jazz for Dummies cites it as one of the prime jazz venues in Los Angeles.
