The Ogden Family Foundation Announces Lineup For 5th Annual Celebrity Bowling and Golf Event

LAS VEGAS - March 27, 2019 - PRLog -- The Ogden Family Foundation is proud to announce an outstanding lineup of celebrity entertainers, athletes, political figures and media representatives for its 5^th Annual Celebrity Bowl tournaments on May 4-5.

Proceeds from the weekend's events will support the foundation's CAAMP Ogden, CAAMP Kids Care Club and F.I.T. (For a Fighting Chance) programs and other events such as the Adopt a Family program and support services for the Community Outreach Medical Center.

COMC provides medical services that includes prenatal care for teenagers and women ages 16 to 40 in partnership with the University of Nevada School of Medicine and the University Medical Center Hospital's Baby Steps Program; an extensive HIV/AIDS program; cancer screenings; family planning services for women such as PAP smears, mammograms, pregnancy tests, gynecology services and birth control; and services for men that includes testicular exams, prostate screenings, nutritional counseling and safe-sex counseling.

Fun-filled activities begin with a premier golf tournament Saturday, May 4, at Reflection Bay Golf Club at Lake Las Vegas, followed by a VIP reception at the Lake Las Vegas Food and Wine Festival. The action continues Sunday, May 5, with a rocking bowling event from noon until 4 p.m. at Red Rock Hotel and Casino.

Celebrities so far committed to participate in this year's events include: actors Anthony Anderson, Bob Torti and Vincent Martella; former NBA stars Byron Scott, James Robinson and Larry Johnson;Basketball Wives' star Cece Gutierrez; former NFL players Christian Okoye, Ephraim Salaam, Jonathan Ogden, Kyle Turley, Napoleon McCallum and Reggie Bush; former NFL coach Jim Fassel; entertainer Jin Jin Reeves; former professional boxer Hasim Rahman; former Nevada Gov. Bob Miller and  local KSNV Channel 3 news anchors Dana and Kim Wagner, who will also be hosting the event.

         The Ogden Family Foundation was co-founded by NFL Hall of Famer Jonathan Ogden and his wife, Kema, to support children and families across Southern Nevada.

         This bowling and golf experience offers amateur teams the opportunity to pair up with celebrity bowling and golf teams.   This is a weekend full of fun, delicious food, a silent auction, prizes, entertainment and much more.

Jonathan Ogden was inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame on Feb. 2, 2013.

Ogden was the Ravens' 1st draft choice ever, and he concluded his career with a 2000 Super Bowl Championship. Ogden is now committed to supporting the Las Vegas community in a positive way through The Ogden Family Foundation.

The Ogden Family Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in Las Vegas, founded by Jonathan and Kema Ogden. Jonathan and Kema work hands on with families and children, combining their efforts with other organizations such as St. Jude's Ranch, Boys Town, Safe Nest, Hope Link and Your Choice Behavioral, as well as previously adopting two local Las Vegas Title 1 Schools, West Prep Academy and Jim Thorpe Elementary, and currently adopting Robert Taylor Elementary School for the past seven years.
