Shattered Glass poetry book to be released

AMSTERDAM, N.Y. - March 27, 2019 - PRLog -- Shattered Glass is a book of poetry that explores themes of mental health, depression, anxiety, PTSD, drug addiction, and suicide. It is a documentation of struggle and triumph, to celebrate life and living. White's wit, empathy, and passion for poetry produce a work of endless wonder.

Shattered Glass is Richard's testament to his own fight with depression, anxiety PTSD, and drug addiction that haunts his past. Inspired by some of his students from high school Richard took to writing Shattered Glass in memory of the students they have lost over the past few years.


Richard White is an author, writer, bull rider, bronc rider, guitar player, poet, and country boy. Besides writing, he also loves to hunt and fish.  He grew up in a little town called Danby, VT. At 22 years old, he became a full time Professional Bull rider, and amateur Bareback Bronc rider. After retiring from the rodeo in 2008, he began writing, and self-publishing his work. Since 2010 he has published poetry, rodeo stories, western shorts, and made Amazons top ten bestselling list in Sports and Rodeo category, as well as top ten on Anxiety and Phobias with his newest title What Happened To Me. Richard loves writing, and designs his own book covers, and loves sharing his work with people that enjoy a good story.

He lives with his wife and daughter in Perth, NY. Where he mows lawns in the summer, and writes during the winter. He enjoys to hunt, fish, camp and hike. His other passion is being a firefighter and EMT in his community.
