As always, Free First Thursday Night also presents a variety of art forms and invites visitors to get creative themselves! Timed Activities: 5–8 p.m. Colcha/ 5–8 p.m. Info Tables with #HatNotHate - Anti Bullying Campaign with Lion Brand Yarns 5–8 p.m. NJPAC info table 5:30–6:30 p.m. The History of Alvin Ailey, NJPAC will present Dance Works/Montclair, Sharon Miller Dance Academy, and a performance from Montclair High School 6:30–8:30 p.m. Art Activity Mandala Workshop 7:30–8 p.m. Artist talk and dance performance with exhibiting artist, Siona Benjamin. Free Tours: 6:30 p.m. Docent- Following the 6:30 tour, meet fiber artist Jan Huling as she discusses her piece entitled The Gown which is included in the Fiber Art exhibition. 7:30 p.m. Docent- Ongoing activities: · Drop-In Draw Along · Family Learning Lab self portraits art project · MAM Yard School of Art Artist and Educator Robert Kogge's Students' Exhibition · Live music with Big Mamou - McMullen Gallery · Food Trucks: Mexoco Mexican Taqueria, Thai Elephant, and Watchung Food Truck - Front Driveway https://www.montclairartmuseum.org/ Off-Site (across the street/Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Real Estate Office) 5-8 pm will feature a reception & meet the artists from the Montclair 10 exhibition.
