Born To Read, Inc. To Host Free Parent Workshop on Hilton Head Island

BEAUFORT, S.C. - April 3, 2019 - PRLog -- Promoting early literacy to parents and children in Beaufort County, Born To Read, Inc. along with community partners from the Beaufort County Library System and the Beaufort County School District will host a free, child-friendly Parent Workshop for parents with children three years old and younger on Thursday, April 25, 2019 from 10:00am to 11:30am at the Hilton Head Branch, Beaufort Public Library, 11 Beach City Road, Hilton Head Island, SC 29926

Activities at the Parent Workshop include Beaufort County School District's Traveling Preschool Bus, Pete the Cat, The Sandbox Interactive Children's Museum, door prizes, and more. Light refreshments will be served.

"Born To Read is proud to collaborate with local community partners to bring this free Parent Workshop to Hilton Head Island," stated Janie Ephland, executive director, Born To Read Inc. She continued, "Free literacy materials and books will be given away." "The seeds of reading and school success are sown in the home long before the child arrives at school."
