CHESTER, N.Y. - April 5, 2019 - PRLog -- Ready for Spring, The Castle Adds Axe Throwing!

There's a new attraction at The Castle Fun Center and it's not for the kiddies this time!  No, it's not another Go Kart Track or new Ride…it's Axe Throwing!

The Castle has been long known as a rite of passage into Spring for playing mini golf or riding go karts.  This year, the addition has been made in Jesters Pub inside The Castle Fun Center, adding three lanes of Axe Throwing for those who want to release their inner lumberjack!

Axe Throwing has been increasing in popularity in the past year and is a great way to release some stress and have fun with friends and co-workers.  "From the first moment you hit that bullseye, you'll be hooked!" said a recent thrower who was there with co-workers who were there to blow off some steam after a full day of sales meetings.

The minimum age to throw is 14 years and older, with an adult over 18 years.  Each 1-hour axe throwing session, which costs $20 per person begins with an "Axepert" who will show you how to safely handle an axe and chuck it with accuracy while giving you tips on how to capture that illustrious bullseye!

In addition to the adventurous axe throwing, The Castle team has also made some changes to their Ballocity area, adding a new discovery section reserved just for kids 6 and under, also expanding the main arena, even adding some dancing balloons!

"We work hard year-round with a full crew, not only updating our current attractions but also adding new activities that will be exciting to all ages including adults" said Brian Leentjes, The Castle's owner.  The Castle is entering their 26^th year of business and are also planning their next major expansion to begin in September.

The Castle is located at 109 Brookside Ave, Chester, NY. and includes 2-18 hole mini golf courses, 3-go kart tracks, rides, zip line, roller skating, laser tag, rock wall, arcade and Jesters Restaurant and Pub which features menu specials, full bar with craft beers on tap and now axe throwing!
