Announcing "Signal to Noise," A Stoner Bromance Romance Set to Shoot this Summer in Santa Cruz, California

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. - April 9, 2019 - PRLog -- Signal to Noise, an independent feature film set to shoot this summer in Santa Cruz, has just launched an Indiegogo campaign to fund its production. Two weeks in, the campaign has raised nearly 20% of its budget and has just been featured in Indiegogo's official "Arts & Film Collection."

Signal to Noise is a stoner bromance romance with a magical-realist twist written and directed by Tyler Milles, produced by Adam Frey, and starring Cristian Caridad and Nico Yasko.

The film follows a stoner whose hazy, solitary life is interrupted by the arrival of an old friend who claims to have gained the ability to peek into the dreams of those he sleeps near. Aiming to test the limits of this bizarre, new ability, they decide to run an experiment. And as they dream together night after night, a passion blurring the lines between friendship and romance awakens.

"We're just trying to make the sort of thing we want to see that isn't already out there," says director Tyler Milles, "and I feel like this slow-burning, kinda fantastical, definitely queer romance is pretty much that."

"We are very conscious of the fact that we're asking strangers for money," adds producer Adam Frey. "It's why we opted towards transparency, towards putting the full script and budget right out there in the campaign. And it's why if people contribute, no matter how much they give, they get a copy of the movie."
