BNI Miami-Dade Hits Major Milestones In 2019 Q1

MIAMI - April 12, 2019 - PRLog -- BNI Miami-Dade, the Miami franchise of the BNI, world's largest referral organization, has had a stellar first quarter for 2019 reaching three major milestones.

The region kicked off 2019 by celebrating 20 years of successful operation with a day-long event, held February 11. Dr. Ivan Misner, BNI Founder and Chief Visionary Officer, was the keynote speaker. BNI Miami-Dade Executive Director, Jeff Stay, also spoke to the capacity room and recognized some of Miami's business leaders and former BNI members, 20-year members and community partners. ICON Award honorees were Jason Loeb (Owner, Sudsies Dry Cleaners), Lynette Janac (CEO, South Florida Luxury Guide), Isaac del Sol (President, Isaac's Roofing & Insulations) and Elizabeth Karwowski (CEO, Get Credit Healthy, Inc.).

Additionally, the region prepared for the immediate future with Leadership Orientation and Development (LOAD), held to prepare incoming chapter leaders for the April 1 term. Nearly 200 BNI chapter leaders attended the airline themed event, held at 94^th Aero Squadron. The day set the stage for chapters to provide a First-Class experience for every chapter member and visitor during the yearlong term.

Finally, the first quarter of 2019 closed out with a major accomplishment. Jeff Stay, Chairman Emeritus of the BNI Global Foundation, and current Executive Committee member, shared that a permanent endowment has been created to support the efforts of the Foundation. Netting over $100,000 in donations at BNI's recent national conference, the BNI Foundation now has a quarter of a million dollars to begin its life-long journey of supporting the BNI Foundation and its goal of serving children and education.
