"Solar Flares & Salazar" an art/science collaboration exhibited during November 2019 on the Dome of the planetarium at Emera Astronomy Center USMO. This unique video incorporates art and science in a bold way, which highlights connections of our natural world with artistic interpretation. Salazar's Solar Flares paintings for the Maine Jewish Museum are accompanied by the video that was shown on the Dome of the Planetarium. I returned to Maine in 2012 for personal reasons where I established as a goal for my paintings to express Maine's true 'essence.'
