Follow on Google News | Local Internet Provider becomes member of Telecommunications Industry OmbudsmanLocal Internet Service Provider GenNext has become a member of the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman (TIO).
By: GenNext Enterprises Pty Ltd "We have dispute resolution and complaints handling processes implemented in the business, so we certainly aim to have all issues reserved internally, in a swift and satisfactory manner, so our customers do not have to take the next step of referring their complaint to the TIO", said Mr Ryan. "However, the TIO is there for consumers if our handling of the complaint is not up to standard, and we make sure we educate all our customers on their rights, provided by both the TCP Code and Australian Consumer Law". GenNext provides phone and internet services to homes and small businesses in the Nambucca Valley, with a head office on Cooper Street in Macksville. When asked about his plans for the business, Mr Ryan said "We currently provide services through trusted wholesale suppliers, however one day we plan to build our own network - if there is enough support in the local community". The TIO was established in 1993 as an independent industry-based ombudsman to handle complaints about telephone and internet services. The TIO is a not for profit company, fully funded by industry fees and charges. GenNext's membership listing is available on the TIO website and can be found at https://www.tio.com.au/ End
