Chicago Salon Owner to Host Hair-Or-Win Mother's Day Panel and Brunch

CHICAGO - April 17, 2019 - PRLog -- Branding You Salon, Chicago's first-ever transitional salon, is inviting mothers across the Chicagoland area to come out and enjoy, Hair-Or-Win Mother's Day Panel and Brunch, an event tailored towards new and existing mothers who have either suffered from Alopecia and/or any forms of hair loss or have experienced adversity with their child(ren) suffering from hair loss. This event is designed to  encourage mothers to move beyond their hair condition and transform into becoming their best selves. This event will take place at Branding You Salon on Saturday, May 4, 2019.

Because of Brandy Irons', founder and CEO of Branding You Salon, personal experience of struggling with Alopecia months after her first child was born, she wanted to educate new and experienced mother's about the signs that indicate hair loss and how to regain your confidence, being the fearless and strongest women mothers can be.

"Did you know that studies show that 90% of women discover hair loss after their pregnancy? Did you also know that postpartum alopecia, is very normal after pregnancies. And sometimes alopecia is dormant until after going through pregnancy," said Brandy Irons. "I didn't know I had alopecia until after I had my first child. And because of my condition, for years I had began to build up anger, insecurity, and negativity, which as a result blocked a lot of my blessings. I do not want new and existing mothers with similar conditions to go down the same path as I did. I want them to be able to have a support system and help overcome any internal issues they may be battling."

Brandy's hair loss condition affected her life both physically and mentally for so long, but she finally had that "Ah Ha" moment where  she decided to walk in her purpose and create a lane where she not only enhances beauty through hair, but also educates individuals on how to accept, embrace, and restore inner beauty living with Alopecia.

On Saturday, May 4 from 11:30am to 2:30pm, Branding You Salon will invite additional mompreneurs who have suffered from Alopecia, hair loss  and have had a child suffer from hair loss because of cancer. Topics will include:

• Early signs of identifying hair loss and how to combat it
• How to move beyond the stages of hair loss and build your confidence
• How to live your best life with growing your business/career
• Keys to unlocking motivation when hit with different types of adversity
