Follow on Google News | Openfield Agriculture adopts r2c Online to achieve Earned RecognitionBy: r2c Online The Grantham-based co-operative decided to switch to digital fleet maintenance and compliance management for its in-house haulage fleet, as part of their preparations to join the DVSA Earned Recognition scheme. Head of Fleet, Keith Hughes, explained their reasons for joining r2c, "We wanted to implement a streamlined service which would allow our fleet processes to be clean and efficient; it was also highly important to us that the software is easy for our team to use." Keith said, "Endless paperwork and last-minute requests for repairs had a range of knock-on effects across our fleet operations, and it also meant that our processes were quite laborious. r2c Online will help our fleet administration to become even more efficient and will help us work more proactively with our fleet compliance." Openfield needed a digital platform that would further improve their customer experience for their farmer members and the many well known British food and drink brands that they supply. Keith continued, "As a British, farmer-owned cooperative our vision is to be an integral part of our farmers' and customers' businesses and we want to ensure we carry our a service that is both efficient and reliable for everyone. "This year, we're focusing on our fleet compliance management and are looking to achieve Earned Recognition through the use of r2c Online's software and support services. Because of r2c's detailed reports and early warning compliance system, we'll be notified in advance if we're approaching a breach, so we'll be able to have complete confidence in our fleet's roadworthiness and performance at all times." Using r2c's Exemplar software package, Openfield also receive complete online maintenance scheduling and defect management, electronic service sheets, digital driver checks and visual reporting tools, so that they can manage their fleet of 80 HGVs and trailers on one, centralised platform. Keith concluded, "Implementing r2c across our business will make administration work so much easier and quicker. We'll also be able to manage our fleet proactively, helping us to provide an even better customer service, and we're now looking to achieve industry best practice." Nick Walls, Managing Director at r2c Online, commented, "We're delighted that Openfield Agriculture has chosen to adopt the r2c platform to manage all of their fleet maintenance and compliance needs. We've invested heavily in providing an unrivalled support and aftersales service to help our customers reach their potential through best practice compliance management." https://r2conline.com End
