Pavese Law Firm partner Mary Vlasak Snell completes Life Planning Seminar series

FORT MYERS, Fla. - April 25, 2019 - PRLog -- Mary Vlasak Snell, a partner at Pavese Law Firm, recently completed a series of complimentary Life Planning Seminars in partnership with the Catholic Community Foundation of Southwest Florida.

Snell was a featured speaker at 10 educational seminars in Fort Myers, Cape Coral and Punta Gorda, offering her expertise in estate planning law and probate administration. The Foundation geared its Life Planning Seminars toward individuals approaching their senior years or retirement, as well as family members and friends who care for aging relatives and acquaintances.

"Estate planning is critically important for everyone as they age, and the vast number of legal, financial and health considerations can be overwhelming," said Snell. "The first, and most important, step that I always emphasize is to create a plan. If well-drafted, the plan lets you – and only you – determine how to handle your estate after your death. That includes finances, insurance policies, property, children, charitable gifts and more."

Snell, who joined Pavese Law Firm in 1987, often volunteers her services and expertise in estate planning, as well as business and corporate law, probate and trust administration, guardianship and Medicaid planning. The Life Planning Seminars also addressed best practices for ensuring loved ones receive your assets, legal ramifications for wills created outside of Florida and selecting an individual to make health care decisions on your behalf.

Snell is a longtime member of the board of directors for United Way of Lee, Hendry, Glades, and Okeechobee Counties, and also has served as its secretary, allocations team leader and on the executive committee. She serves on the finance committee at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and is a Sustainer Member with Junior League of Fort Myers. Snell is a former chairperson of Bishop Verot Catholic High School's Board and is an advisory board member for Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida's Business Hall of Fame, Lee County.
