William "Billy" McNamara To Guest On The Jimmy Star Show With Ron Russell Wednesday May 1st, 2019

PALM SPRINGS, Calif. - April 25, 2019 - PRLog -- William "Billy" McNamara will be a featured guest on The Jimmy Star Show with Ron Russell  live radio/tv show hosted by King of Cool Jimmy Star along with Cool Man About Town Ron Russell to discuss his career and the entertainment industries at large. William "Billy" McNamara has been an animal activist for over twenty years. He was on the original Sea Shepherd crew that broke the story on the killing cove in Taiji that later became the subject for the Academy Award winning documentary, THE COVE. Billy has worked in the field of domestic animals as well as exotics; he and Alison Eastwood,  created, produced and co-hosted a series for National Geographic entitled ANIMAL INTERVENTION, in which they rescued and re-located exotic animals.

Billy has also had a long career in Hollywood, starring in over one hundred film and TV projects. William McNamara has been a working actor since 1985 and has starred opposite, Jodie Foster, Jeff Bridges, Patricia Arquette, Reese Witherspoon, Holly Hunter, Ben Kingsly, Sigourney Weaver, James Earl Jones, Beau Bridges, Donald Sutherland, Tom Berenger, Dennis Hopper, Danny Glover, Roy Scheider, Armand Assante, Gabriel Byrne, Bette Midler and the list goes on. Prior to acting McNamara worked in production in New York City and Los Angeles on various 20th Century Fox films, worked for Stanley Jaffe and James, "Skotch" Skotchdopole- Skotch recently won an Academy Award for his production of Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance).

Recently, McNamara just finished producing, directing and writing his first feature film, The Trouble. Last year he sold his first script, a female driven thriller, entitled, The Wrong Girl.
