DCI Big Sky Relocates Dialysis FacilityBy: Dialysis Clinic, Inc. "We built the new facility in order to accommodate patient access. We've been at capacity in our original building for years. Our original DCI Big Sky location was built in 1995 and had 12 stations and then was renovated to have 19 stations. Over the years, we've undergone two renovations in order to keep pace with the growing dialysis population," The DCI Big Sky facility will now have 40 stations. The building is approximately 17,000 square feet. Patients will be using new dialysis machines and experience the comfort of new, heated dialysis chairs. Treatments offered at DCI Big Sky include in-center hemodialysis, home hemodialysis, and peritoneal dialysis. The staff is welcoming new patients. DCI Big Sky also offers chronic kidney disease education through the REACH Kidney Care program. The program teaches individuals how to maintain kidney function, proper nutrition, treatment options including pre-emptive transplants, and how delay the need for dialysis.
