TV Host Completing Late Sister's Un-Bucket List for Cystic Fibrosis

BURBANK, Calif. - May 7, 2019 - PRLog -- Hollywood Today Live co-host Kristen Brockman has been a passionate advocate for The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (cff.org) since 2008, volunteering, fundraising, and serving as the chair for the Los Angeles 65 Roses Climb since 2013.

Kristen's younger sister Kelsi lived with cystic fibrosis and lost her battle with the genetic lung and digestive disease in 2016. The Un-Bucket List has become Kristen's passion project - a travelogue that chronicles Kristen completing each item from Kelsi's unfinished bucket list, with the purpose of raising awareness and funds for CF research. To date, she has raised over $40K towards her goal of $100K – and then, she'll complete item #10: skydiving.

Kristen also hosts the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation podcast, Breaking Through, aimed at "Tomorrow's Leaders," the CF Foundation's Young Professionals Group.

The next item on the list is walking Kelsi's dogs, Honey Bee and Peach, in Central Park. Thanks in part to Staypineapple hotels, Kristen is scheduled to drive to NYC with the two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels for a Sunday, May 26 stroll in the park; not long after hosting the 3rd Annual Kelsi Brown Memorial Golf Tournament at Campbellsville Country Club in Campbellsville, KY on May 18.

Having checked off hugging a sloth and riding cable cars in San Francisco, Kristen is determined to complete each item, including meeting Britney Spears in Las Vegas and visiting Punta Cana and Atlantis in The Bahamas.

This family has made raising awareness and funds for cystic fibrosis in Kelsi's honor their mission, and extends beyond Cystic Fibrosis Awareness Month. May 27 also happens to be Kelsi's birthday and why Kristen chose this particular weekend to check another item off The UnBucket List.
