Pottery Show & Sale at The Center for Contemporary Art

BEDMINSTER, N.J. - May 21, 2019 - PRLog -- A group of artists from The Center for Contemporary Art, ("The Center"), will be selling their ceramic works of art at the Pottery Show & Sale, a fundraiser for The Center, on Saturday, June 8 and Sunday, June 9 from 11am – 4pm.

Participating are 12 talented artists: Doris Aufschlager (Bernardsville), Kathryn Jerabek Davis (Piscataway), Lilah Galdi (Somerset), Fran Hargadon (Somerset), Helen Marie Farrant (Lebanon), Keiko Inouye (Bridgewater), Gillian Kelly (Branchburg), Kathleen Moreno (Warren), Naomi Nierenberg (Somerset), Vicki Pollack (Montclair), Justy Strohl (Bridgewater) and Bobbie Vanata (Cranford).

Included in this event will be unique, functional, and sculptural gifts and ceramic art, utilizing various techniques of firing – electric, gas, raku, soda, and anagama wood-fired kilns. The potters will be available to discuss their works and how they are made.

Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase tickets for the chance to win work created by ceramic instructors from The Center, Lori Pearson (Asbury) and John Reinking (Pittstown).
