Theraplay Relocates to Kennett Square to Accommodate Growing Need for Pediatric Therapy Services

WEST CHESTER, Pa. - May 21, 2019 - PRLog -- In 2014, Theraplay, Inc. opened in Landenberg, PA, bringing their total number of outpatient centers to seven, spread throughout southeastern Pennsylvania. In the five years since, seven locations have turned into
twenty-six, and southeastern Pennsylvania has grown to include Delaware, New Jersey, Pittsburgh and northern Virginia.

Theraplay's Landenberg center has flourished with the company, relocating six miles to Kennett Square, PA to better serve the pediatric population of southern Chester County. With almost 4,000 square feet of treatment space, including rooms for Theraplay's feeding program and sensory processing sessions, a larger gym, orthopedic and concussion rehabilitation areas for older patients, and expanded hours that include nights and weekends, this growth better equips Theraplay's therapists to treat the increasing number of patients who are being referred there.

Center Manager Cara Myers, PT, DPT, is proud of the growth in Landenberg. "I am so excited to be growing our Kennett Square office. Our new center gives us more space to treat, and having a more centralized location makes coming to therapy more convenient for our patients and their families!"
