Laura Campos, EI Named 2019 ASHE Young Member of the Year

(GAI) Project Engineer Intern Laura Campos, EI its 2019 Young Member of the Year. Ms. Campos' industry experience coupled with her passion and commitment to the engineering industry earned her the national title and recognition at the 2019 ASHE National Conference.

• A Project Engineer Intern (EI) supporting GAI's Southeast Transportation market, Laura's 6 years of experience includes transportation/drainage engineering and land development projects across multiple states.
• Recently, Laura served as Project EI supporting secondary drainage design on projects including the I-10/I-95 Operational Improvements in Jacksonville, Florida, and the Turnpike Mainline at I-4 and Resurfacing Mainline Design-Build in Orlando, Florida.
• Laura holds a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico Mayagüez Campus and is a registered Engineer Intern in Florida.
• Laura is an active member of the American Society of Highway Engineers, serving as Director (3-Year) and Programs Committee Chair; the American Society of Civil Engineers, Young Members Society; and the Florida Engineering Society.
