PURE visits Nerium Farms that provides the patented NAE-8® ingredient

FRISCO, Texas - June 3, 2019 - PRLog -- PURE: People United Reaching Everyone was honored to take many of its Independent Business Owners that are part of the Leadership Advisory Council (LAC) on an exclusive tour of Nerium Farms in D'Hanis, Texas.  The farm was developed and is owned and operated by Nerium Biotechnology, Inc. ® (NBI).

The leaders from PURE walked the orchards where the Nerium oleander plants are grown, learning firsthand about the science behind the product. The Nerium oleander plant contributes the NAE-8® exclusive patented ingredient found in products formulated by NBI. As leaders walked the Nerium oleander orchard, they felt the farmers' pride for the plants and the entire operation. This is the only Nerium oleander commercial farming operation that provides the biomass for biotechnology research and consumer skincare products from the field to the end consumer.

PURE leaders also had the opportunity to hear from key scientists and executives from Nerium Biotechnology, Inc. such as CEO, Dennis Knocke and Dr. Robert Newman, Chief Science Officer.

With the launch of PURENerium, there will be a designated area at Nerium Farms where PURE leaders who obtain certain criteria will have a Nerium oleander plant dedicated in their name as part of the PURE Gardens. PURE will also offer IBOs and customers the opportunity to tour  Nerium Farms in the future where they will learn more about the history of Nerium Farms, the Nerium oleander plant and the passion and science that go into the orchard.

Historical Overview

From a historical perspective, the Nerium Farms operations provided for transitioning the Nerium oleander plant from the Nursery environment to commercial farming. It began with the establishment of a research field for biotechnology research. At the time, there were no commercial Nerium oleander farming operations, it had not been done, planting and irrigation techniques had not been developed, you could not go to the local farm equipment dealer and buy Nerium oleander harvesting equipment. Needless to say, Nerium Farm's had to be built from the ground up.

Today Nerium Farms™ represents the largest Nerium oleander farming operation in the USA, if not the world. Nerium Farms continues to increase field capacity with new planting and irrigation techniques, provide for development of new harvesting equipment, the expansion of biomass processing facilities, the development of proprietary processing techniques, and development of new biomass processing equipment.
