LOS ANGELES - June 7, 2019 - PRLog -- Multi-talented musician, thought leader, and dynamic performer, Jensen Kirk, celebrates launching his long-awaited album, Phoenix: There Will Be Fire. This highly-anticipated release takes place today at 8:00am EST on all major electronic music platforms worldwide (exact launch times may vary by platform, please refer to social media links below for updates).

"My mission in life is to plant seeds, water them and to water myself along the way." - Jensen Kirk

Like a fine wine that only gets better with age, Jensen's music evolves with his own life experiences, and attracts both the casual listener and the experienced music connoisseur. On the surface of Phoenix: There Will Be Fire, we get notes of essential rap and classic hip-hop, with hints of other legendary creatives, in a style uniquely his own. Revelations surface as Jensen gives us a glimpse of life through his lens; he accounts an oppressor's prayer in the line "… forgive us, as we dump bodies in rivers – muddy our livers, and drink to cope with the sickness, as we take from your children – use them for business…" in his Watermelon Interlude. Spirited collaborations grace Phoenix: There Will Be Fire as well, with relatable meme-worthy words of inspiration, "…turning struggles into diamonds…" from Who Knew (featuring Kirani Arat). As we delve deeper into this artfully crafted album, quiet elements of Motown, R'nB, and ever-so-subtle essences of classic jazz shine through in this lyrical heat that can only be described as, well … fire… just as promised.

ABOUT JENSEN KIRK
Though grounded and down-to-earth, Jensen Kirk is a multi-faceted musician, composer, businessman, thought-leader, philanthropist and producer.  Jensen established a successful solo career in music after the 2016 release of his self-titled EP, and later engaged fans with his acclaimed release, Kissed by the Sun, in 2017. He has been recognized by industry giants such as The Source and is notorious for his hit "Paper Chaser" performed with Big Sean. Kissed by the Sun brought a newfound depth and introspection to LA's Hip Hop scene; no longer were we experiencing hip-hop within the confines of any singular sub-genre with hits like, "Not for Sale," "Ain't Stressin' / Kissed by the Sun" (featuring Quinton Medina), and "Food and Liquor Stores". Jensen's mindful approach to collaborative music efforts and his personal drive to pay it forward has created an unlikely following in arenas well beyond the likes of pop culture, and into the more soulful suburbs across the globe. Not without allusions to music's quintessential drugs, sex, and hip-hop, Jensen covers pop-culture bases and goes beyond with references to something greater - gaining humility and strength from the South Central LA streets that helped define him. Something you may not learn from his music; Jensen has an affinity for inner city youth, often supporting community efforts in his home town with aspirations to eventually make a noteworthy impact on the global water crisis. As music takes him further, Jensen inspires others to achieve more, raise standards, and to also be of service to others through music, culture, and community-driven events.

Jensen's music is currently available for purchase on Apple / Apple Music, Google Play, Spotify, TIDAL,  and a variety of other online retail outlets, including Jensen's official website, JensenKirk.com.
