JC Legal Expands Cross-border Wills and Probate Practice

SHEUNG WAN, Hong Kong - June 10, 2019 - PRLog -- JC Legal grows its practice in Will writing, cross-border estate planning, succession and probate as the firm welcomes the addition of lawyers Amy Kwan and Sarah-Jane Tasteyre today. Ms Kwan, qualified in Queensland of Australia and Hong Kong, joins JC Legal as Consultant specialising in Will writing, cross-border estate planning and probate. Ms Tasteyre joins the firm as Registered Foreign Lawyer practising family law, succession and cross-border probate in France.

Amy Kwan Makes Legacy Planning Stress-free
Amy Kwan is a qualified solicitor in Queensland of Australia and Hong Kong, as well as the founder and CEO of Good Wills, a bespoke Will writing consultancy that seeks to make legacy planning a stress-free experience. Her prior experience in handling estate dispute matters consolidates her belief that it is in people's best interests to have a Will in place that reflects their wishes and intentions, and to plan ahead their estate upon their passing.

Throughout her professional career, Ms Kwan has helped numerous clients in both Queensland and Hong Kong with different backgrounds and circumstances in drafting local Wills and Wills for other jurisdictions that best suit their personal needs. She endeavours to provide an efficient, pleasant and highly personalised Will writing experience with a client-oriented approach.

Sarah-Jane Tasteyre Advises French Nationals on Family Law and Cross-border Probate
Sarah-Jane Tasteyre was qualified in France in 2003 and has been based in Hong Kong since 2015, specialising in international family law, succession and cross-border probate. With her global vision of family law, she regularly works with family lawyers in Hong Kong and France, advising private clients on cross-border matrimonial issues and estate planning.

Before working in private practice in Hong Kong, Ms Tasteyre advised Amnesty International and other non-governmental organisations in France on corporate governance, internal control, legacy and risk management as well as regulatory compliance. She currently also collaborates with overseas lawyers as a member of Jurisglobal to assist French nationals around the world.
