Lighthouse of SWFL Partners with McGriff Insurance Services for Volunteer Project

NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. - June 11, 2019 - PRLog -- Lighthouse of SWFL partnered with McGriff Insurance Services to spruce up the vision rehabilitation center as part of McGriff's 2019 Lighthouse Project, an annual community service effort to positively impact the community. McGriff associates spent several days painting the lobby, kitchen, and meeting spaces to make a noticeable improvement to the facility and help provide an updated, comfortable place for clients and their families living with major vision loss.

In addition to contributing the paint and supplies for the project, McGriff Insurance Services also provided brand new cook-tops for the Lighthouse teaching kitchen, creating a safer and more efficient learning environment which will benefit countless individuals, of all ages, living with blindness and vision impairment and working to gain independence through life skills.

Lighthouse of SWFL is a United Way partner agency serving individuals with blindness and vision impairment in Lee, Glades, and Hendry counties.
