Knarly Jones Releases New Single "Atonement"

LOS ANGELES - June 11, 2019 - PRLog -- Hailing from Detroit, Knarly Jones is excited to release a slew of singles this year.  First up is his new single "Atonement" released on June 7. The electro-house song is the first of four singles to be released during the summer of 2019.

"Atonement", like all of Knarly's music has a unique sound. It combines heavy leads and melodic interludes with cinematic scoring elements to create a uniquely heavy electronic sound. The song was inspired the electro-house music Knarly has DJ'ed over the past decade.

"I have watched the electronic music scene develop into the global phenomenon it is today," said Jones. "To me as an artist, Atonement details my reconciliation with my decision to forgo pursuing a career as a musician as I focused on other pursuits including mathematics and physics.  This series of releases, beginning with "Atonement", is my return to the stage."

This series of releases essentially follows both the musical stylings over this period and is a metaphorical journey of his re-entry back into the electronic music scene. There will he 4 releases in this series and will progressively "catch up" in style to the most recent genres in electronic music.

Knarly started his music career as a producer with the Hip-Hop group "The Classic".  The group attained regional recognition, earning him nods in numerous regional awards.  After a few years with The Classic, Knarly separated to form his electronic music project.

Knarly Jones has been DJing and producing electronic music for over 10 years. In 2017 he released his first single titled "illuminate" as a collaboration with producer Trivisio and vocalist Alexa Lusader. Knarly has played shows and festivals throughout America and has played as an opening act for Hardwell, Steve Aoki, RL Grime, Zeds Dead, Zomboy, and NGHTMRE, in addition to others.

About Knarly Jones
Knarly Jones is a producer from Detroit, Michigan. When not producing music he is working on a theory of quantum gravity and works as a math professor, holding positions at two universities. He holds a dual Ph.D in mathematics and physics and actively does research in theoretical astrophysics. Through experimenting with numerous BPM's and pulling from various influences, Knarly has created a heavy sound of thick synths and heavy drops.  Combining a traditional electro feel with cinematic hits and strikes crafted the "Knarly" sound. This branches together with the genres of Electro and Progressive House to please fans of both alike.
