SYNOPSIS
Shakespeare's great romantic comedy The Winter's Tale. Contrasting the worlds of Sicilia and Bohemia the Bard weaves a stirring and delightful story of jealousy passion, tyranny, disguise, magic, and forgiveness. Leontes, king of Sicilia is driven to extremes by jealousy of his friend Polixenes, King of Bohemia. His tyranny drives the plot to include intrigue, flight, the moving trail of his Queen, the oracle Apollo and  romantic journey through the bucolic splendor of Bohemia- lead by a Shepard, a clown, a clever thief and a country maiden with secret too great for her to know.
