NASHVILLE, Tenn. - June 12, 2019 - PRLog -- Nashville-based award-winning, Juilliard-educated Annie Moses Band, known for its impeccable artistry and genre-defying music, announces today the upcoming schedule of special performances for this year's Annie Moses Summer Music Festival (https://anniemosessummermusicfestival.com/). Now in its 16th year, this highly anticipated, week-long performing arts intensive, which draws young musicians from all across the country, will take place July 14 – 20 at The Factory at Franklin (conveniently located just south of Music City) and at other premier Nashville area performance venues.

Recognized as the flagship event and the centerpiece for the band's vision for the arts and mission of the Annie Moses Band's music education 501C3 non-profit Annie Moses Foundation (http://www.anniemoses.org/), the Annie Moses Summer Music Festival offers exceptional instruction, as well as live performance opportunities designed to give students life-changing experiences on professional stages.

The Annie Moses Summer Music Festival was founded by the Annie Moses Band, whose members write, direct and arrange the performances for the 150+ young performers who will gather to put on four original shows over a single week. Every student is cast in at least two of these shows, each arranged by nationally recognized composers/arrangers, and given customized parts for their featured moments.

"Seeing the transformation in our students and in these families is the greatest privilege we've experienced as musicians," shares Annie Dupre, founder, lead vocalist and violinist of Annie Moses Band. "Our grandmother, Annie Moses, passed on a legacy to us. That same legacy of faith, family and music lives on in the voices of these young artists."

This year's final show, Trailblazers: Prodigy On Mission, brings all of the students together in one epic performance hosted by best-selling author, acclaimed television host and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, who has long been a key supporter of the arts in education. This colorful and inspiring portrait of moments and melodies that made this nation great, from the Civil War to the Greatest Generation, will be recorded live at Trinity Broadcasting Network's Huckabee Theater and for the first time will be released as a special at a later date to be announced.

The gala, as well as all of the showcases that week, will feature special performances by exceptional young artists, many of whom are from families who have relocated to the Nashville area in order to participate in the Conservatory of Annie Moses (http://conservatoryofanniemoses.com/)' artist development program. Robin Wolaver, artistic director of the Conservatory, states, "The Conservatory of Annie Moses is designed to create a new generation of young artists to populate the world of the arts with godly excellence, one family at a time. That means more than just lessons. It means technique that empowers personal creativity worthy of professional launch."

Benjamin Wolaver, Annie Moses Band Cellist and Director of Development, Annie Moses Foundation, adds, "There is an amazing caliber to the young artists and families who have been trained and mentored as part of the Conservatory of Annie Moses program and Festival. They are fantastic performers whose families are living out the ethos of faith, family and music coming together."
