Second Book in "These Four Years" Explores Sorority Life and Love

LOS ANGELES - June 20, 2019 - PRLog -- Caroline A. DeJong, author of the These Four Years series, is publishing her second novel in the series titled A Confounded Sophomore. DeJong's protagonist, Sophie, returns to her college and must deal with her complicated feelings for Ryan and Steven, and her move into Alpha Nu. Drawing from her personal experience in a sorority, DeJong puts a spin on the coming-of-age story by exploring the odd and complicated sphere of Greek life and romantic relationships in college.

DeJong continues her strong trajectory as an author in Women's Fiction. Women of all ages will be able to empathize with Sophie's struggles in her personal and academic life. A Confounded Sophomore will delight fans of romantic novels like Emily Giffin's Something Borrowed and readers who experienced sorority life in college. The novel is set to be released June 28, 2019.

Caroline A. DeJong grew up in Kent, Washington. Determined to get out of the rainy weather, she moved to Los Angeles for college, attended Loyola Marymount University, and graduated with a B.A. in Screenwriting. There, she was a member of the Delta Zeta sorority and the Women's Film Society. She will graduate with her MFA in Writing from Lindenwood University in June 2019. She works full-time at UCLA. DeJong also writes screenplays and short stories. Her first screenplay with Larry Levinson Productions premiered on the PixL channel in 2017, "Woman of the House."
