Arise 'n' Shine's ED Talks Conference - Addressing The Critical Challenges Of Our Education System

CHENNAI, India - June 24, 2019 - PRLog -- Earlier this month, Arise 'n' Shine hosted its Annual Conference and Awards in Chennai where the high point was the FIRST ED Talks, a panel discussion with a focus on underlining the significance on Emotional Intelligence in Education and Entrepreneurship. The ED Talks was created as a platform for Edupreneurs, Educationalists, Life Coaches, and Educational Leaders to discuss and share insight on the present Educational System and devise ways to bridge the GAP prevailing across Educational Systems in India. It was an edifying panel session with several takeaways for the attendees on ways to collectively bring about change.

The first ED Talks panel  discussion  focused on "Emotional Intelligence (EI) In Education - Why It Matters?" which had insight from distinguished leaders from school education; Mrs. Shyamala Suresh, Correspondent of CSI Group Of Schools, Mrs. Emily Titus, Principal of CSI Monahan School, and Mrs. Lohitha Jaikar, Emotional Intelligence Coach and Founder of Transcend NOW. The key takeaway was to understand that "Success in classroom has to do with more than just IQ. The way the student understands, identifies, and manages emotions can have an impact on everything from learning to relationships and making life decisions. Integrating EI in Education enables educators to understand their students in a better way and create a system where NO CHILD IS LEFT BEHIND".

The second ED Talks panel discussion focused on "Journey as an Edupreneur" which had insight from thriving edupreneurs; Mrs. Muthuselvi, Center Director of MyBeeClub Avadi, Mr. Prashanth Kumar, Center Director of Arise 'n' Shine Mogappair, and Mrs. Sarika Mani,  Center Director of MyBeeClub Puraswalkam. The key takeaway was how to apply Emotional Intelligence and Human Engineering for business success.  The whole idea behind this discussion was to empower edupreneurs with practical and meaningful ways of reaching out and touching the lives of the students in their community and create a student centric culture.
