Be the Change You Want to See: The Wake-Up Call

HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. - July 3, 2019 - PRLog -- Starting on Friday, July 12^th-July 14^th will be a weekend of enlightenment by AK Entertainment a company bringing forth its first ever Be the Change You Want to See: The Wake-Up Call weekend event, located at Mirschel Park 90 Atlantic Avenue, Hempstead New York.

Friday, July 12^th from 1:00 PM-7:00 PM at Mirschel Park, we will feature dynamic speakers from around the country who have a massive social media following, who are known for their thought-provoking and very prevalent conscious content. Our guest on Friday; starting with our very own Hempstead, New York Native Tazarapath Yahawadah, Brother Ben X, Red Pill, Pop Darby, Jamhal Talib Abdullah Bey, Yarima Karama, Jamaar Milton and Rizza Islam.

Saturday, July 13^th from 8:00 AM-7:00 PM is our Day of Love community outreach event that is set to beautify neighboring cities in Nassau County, New York. The cities that we are targeting are Hempstead, Roosevelt, Freeport, Westbury and Uniondale. The purpose of this day is to bring beauty back to theses cities that lack luster when it comes to the finer detailing of community gardening and its aesthetic landscaping. We will also be taking care of our seniors and disabled individuals who maybe in need of assistance, such as landscaping and trash disposal, etc. We strongly encourage volunteers to sign up and to show our appreciation we will be having a BBQ.

To conclude our weekend of events Sunday, July 14^th from 1:00 PM-7:00 PM the one and only Certified School Psychologist, Dr. Umar Johnson will be making his FIRST ever appearance in the Incorporated Village of Hempstead, New York. He is internationally known for his strong content and has been featured on major media outlets such as New York 101.5 FM-The Breakfast Club and News One Now with Roland Martin. Dr. Johnson is one of the most requested black scholars of all time. There is a paradigm shift that will be making a wave in Hempstead, New York.
